Q: Is a Science Fair Project required?
A: Projects are required for students in grades 3-5, and optional for students in grades PreK-2nd.
Q: Is a tri-fold display board required for all projects?
A: Tri-fold boards are required for 3rd, 4th, and 5th Grade projects, and recommended for PreK - 2nd Grade projects
Q: Are trifold boards available for students at school and what is the price?
A: Yes! The Key PTO is providing boards, free of charge, for any student.
Q: Will working with partners be allowed?
A: Yes. Siblings may work together, and students who are in the same grade level may work as partners. All caretakers must give permission to engage in a partner project. Groups may be no more than two students.
Q: What if I/my student(s) needs additional conferencing time ?
A: No problem! Please e-mail the Science Team to set-up additional conferencing time. Keysciencefair@gmail.com
Q: May I request unique material needs from Key School such as a grow light?
A: Absolutely! We're happy to provide such materials, and we ask you to submit
requests and inquires for materials here.
